I got my brand new BMW 520i/G30 couple of weeks ago, so I guess it's a 2018. On the same flash, the only files I have been able to play are mp3. I successfully could play the same FLAC-files on a computer.
It's like it tries to play the track for some seconds and then it tries the next track, and keeps going like that. It finds my music library and I can browse albums/artists/songs.
